Pricing

Our licensing model is On-premise, Royalty-free, Per device and Lifetime. No monthly fees or per request billing.

On-premise: The SDK runs on your own machine. No internet connection is required.
Royalty-free: You can process as many images as you want with no additional cost.
Per device: You need as many runtime licenses as machines. N machine(s) means N runtime license(s).
Lifetime: You pay once and you can use the software forever.

The code released on Github doesn't require a license but comes with some restrictions and must not be used in commercial products. But, it could be used to check the speed and accuracy before purchasing licenses.

Runtime license

A runtime license is royalty-free and lifetime. It's tied to a hardware or cloud instance. Every machine/instance using the SDK must have it.
The rights to get the new updates (maintenance) and support (technical help) is tied to the support account. Support account is optional but without it you'll not have access to new versions.

Types

We support several license types.

Bare-metal

The licence is tied to the hardware (CPU, motherboard...). The license could be replaced when a hardware element is damaged under certain conditions.
You cannot use VMs.

Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS

You can attach a license to a Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS instance. The license will not be tied to the hardware and will be valid as long as you don't terminate the instance. You can use VMs and containers with no restriction and no additional configuration is needed.

USB key

The licence is tied to the USB key. The license could be replaced when the usb key is damaged and returned to Doubango.
You can use VMs.

Virtual Machines (VMs)

We do not support license activation for VMs unless you're using Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or USB key license.

Refund
